Overview:
The Corvette Shop of San Diego is a San Diego local Corvette repair and service shop. Larry Hofer also provides automotive service to other makes and models as well. The Corvette Shop has been in San Diego for over 15 years. The Corvette Shop relied on a blend of magazine tech articles coupled with unique fold out business cards. Larry Hofer, the owner of the Corvette Shop mentioned a recent drop off in business and was considering working on BMWs as well to save the Corvette Shop.
Marketing Goals:
After being a routine returning client for several months, Larry Hofer asked us to build him a tasteful yet "fun" website in which the shop could show off the caliber of work they perform. The website would have to outrank numerous other Corvette Shops across the country, as well as other Corvette repair services locally.
SEO / SEM Strategy:
Stage 1: Our design team set to work to produce a website that was bright and fun while still maintaining an overall look that promotes the quality service of the company.
Stage 2: Once the site was built; our link building team went to work building industry specific links, increasing overall exposure on the internet.
Stage 3: The Corvette Shop continually provides automotive performance magazines and other forms of print numerous tech articles. Our search marketing team been continually building sub pages to accurately reflect the level of expertise at the shop.

Since April, the Corvette Shop of San Diego has an impressive traffic trend developing. The average user looks at 4.16 pages per visit, and spend over an average elapsed time of two and a half minutes!

Overview:
EFI Tuning is a brand new company based out of Pleasanton, a small northern California town outside the San Francisco bay area. They specialize in electronic fuel injection dynamometer tuning for maximum power output and fuel economy.
Marketing Goals:
EFI Tuning approached us about designing a website and marketing it for them online. Joe of EFI Tuning informed us that he prefers to work on General Motors and Chevy vehicles, particularly LS series engined cars and trucks. We set about building a PHP/CSS website that included automatic feeds built off of EFI-Tuning's existing blog.
SEO / SEM Strategy:
Stage 1: An outside graphic designer created an image which we coded into a website. As the website was being completed, Full Monty's content management team set to work with Joe recording all the information possible about the services EFI-Tuning offers. Special time was taken to ensure that all facets of EFI's tuning expertise were covered.
Stage 2: As the website finished its completion, we set about building industry specific links whilst helping Joe of EFI Tuning become a member of some of the larger online performance forums in his target market.
Internet Marketing Results:
Unfortunately, General Motors and the aftermarket have not agreed upon a designation for the LS family of engines making them exceptionally difficult to optimize for the major search engines. For instance, a Corvette could be powered by an LS1, LS2, LS3, LS6, LS7, LS9 or LSX engine if the motor has modified heads. As you might imagine, this was a difficult issue to work around without appearing like spam to the search engines.
Since it's genesis in February of 2009, EFI-Tuning has grown exponentially. In fact, Joe has actually called our offices begging us to make the website slow down and stop sending him clients! He tells us he's got a backlog of over 2 months on his LS engine tuning clients.

Overview:
Excelsior Motorsports provides high end performance dynamometer tuning for General Motors LSX engine series. The owner; Kushan Peykarian, is very knowledgeable about auto crossing Corvettes. Kushan found S.C.A.A. word of mouth and traffic from the Corvette Forums to be what drove the most clients to his business. After numerous “SEO experts” were unable to make his site rank for terms relating to tuning in San Diego, we stepped in.
Marketing Goals:
We initially started with Excelsior Motorsports on the bronze level. This $400 a month package quickly elevated Excelsior Motorsports to the top of the first page for all San Diego related tuning and Corvette related search terms. Kushan wanted more, telling us that he wanted to be known as the premiere LS tuning shop in the USA - and if possible, the world.
SEO / SEM Strategy:
We designed a full custom template with SEO and Excelsior’s future divisions in mind. Excelsior plans to extend it’s offerings past dyno tuning to corvette performance parts and packages. Due to the nature of the vehicles being modified and tuned at Excelsior, Kushan selected a gritty red background with tan content areas. These colors helps to add contrast to the vehicles on the page, which makes them more stimulating to the performance enthusiast.
Internet Marketing Results:
Today Excelsior’s web site traffic has shifted gears. Now, the web site sees over 75% of its traffic from search engines, 55% of which comes from Google alone!
